All the Train Watcher's Guides have been out of print for quite some time and presently there are no plans to update them. The information in them is still good and useful. In addition they provide a neat historical perspective, not easily seen when viewing the current scene. Another reason is the availability of updated material on the internet. For those that want more info on the Guides, I would suggest you check Amazon and Ebay for overviews and reviews and to compare prices. (Remember, both are offering used copies, where as here you can purchase new copies as long as they are available.)
